BROW TINT / LAMINATION
A BROW TINT adds color and definition to your brows and can even help cover grays or gaps. A BROW LAMINATION smooths out brow hairs, tames unruly coarse hairs, and gives them a fuller, more polished appearance. The lamination restructures the brow hair to retain a desired shape and that looks fuller. See below for more information and aftercare.

Your pores are open so keep them super clean:
NO touching, sweating, hot tubs, pools, tanning, exercise
heat or friction, etc for 24hr. Avoid the sun and use sunscreen.

AFTERCARE FOR BROW LAMINATIONS &/OR TINTS
​
Do NOT wet your brows for 24hrs; keep brows completely dry. Avoid touching or rubbing. After 24hrs, resume normal activity but NO oil-based products (check your skincare and make up ingredients). Also, limit exposure to harsh elements: saunas, swimming, excessive sweating, etc. Use a dedicated brow serum or conditioner to maintain color and health of your brows.
For Brow Laminations: they have a 'wet' look for the first couple days then they look like your brows but smooth and easy to style. Simply brush them into place and use brow gel as needed.
​FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does a brow tint last?
Typically, the brow tint lasts 4 to 5 weeks on the brow hairs. Your skin also tints during the process but that only lasts a few days to a week and is why it usually looks a little darker right after the tint. Results vary greatly depending on lifestyle, if you have oily or dry skin, which skin care products you use, sweating, sun exposure, etc.

How long does a brow lamination usually last?
Typically last 6 to 8 weeks, although the exact duration can vary depending on factors like your hair type and growth cycle, skincare routine, lifestyle and how well you follow aftercare instructions. Sweat, swimming, exposure to steam, and rubbing your brows can affect the longevity of your brow lamination. Hot yoga is great but not for your lash or brow work.

How to help it last?
Keep brows completely dry for first 24-48 hours. Water can weaken the setting solution used in the lamination process, causing it to lose its shape. After 48hrs use a nourishing brow oil or conditioning gel to keep the brow hairs hydrated and healthy. Use gentle cleansers and avoid excessive heat or steam.

It depends on your goal. If you would like to make a plan and learn how to use make up you can book our Brow Rescue. If you have a special event you may like to tint your brows. You can also consider a brow lamination with tint. Give us a call and we can help you pick what is right for you or schedule a complementary consultation.
